The U.S. Embassy is recruiting a Human Resources Assistant, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Provides a wide range of HR services such as employee evaluation reports, recruitment, accreditation, orientation, the Foreign Service Exam, and other HR services
- Handles a portfolio of mission sections/agencies to manage their HR needs for LES and USDH
Requisites
- Top Secret Security Clearance
- Two years of university level studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Three years of experience in human resources, business administration, or employment within an international organization or diplomatic mission
- One year of supervisory experience
- Level IV (fluency) in reading, written and speaking English required
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide variety of clients
- Strong organizational skills are required to manage a number of competing tasks
- Good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail software
- Ability to identify problems, meet deadlines and work independently
