Maintenance Planner

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Maintenance Planner, to be based in Beira.

Duties

• The Maintenance Planner position is responsible for all maintenance work control processes
• He/she is responsible to the Technical Manager for the efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling all resources to conduct maintenance activities which results in minimum downtime and maximum productivity
• Manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crafts and skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan
• Provide related expertise and technical guidance on improving preventive maintenance activities
• Develop maintenance plans
• Schedule maintenance and allocate resources to allotted work orders
• Determine availability of spares and schedule according to lead times
• Compile reports on outstanding work
• Supply management information regarding costs, utilisation, availability

Requisites

• Degree in a Mechanical & Electrical or Diploma in Technical (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Practical experience of carrying out schedule and preventative maintenance activities on all diesel/mobile equipment in an industrial environment
• People Management
• Planning skills
• Proficiency in advanced Excel
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent SAP PM Knowledge
• Scenario modelling
• Service Delivery
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of spoken & written English & Portuguese
