Bookeper

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Bookeper, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Monitor VAT returns on a monthly basis
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws
• Make sure the local accounting and financial controls are complete timely and accurately
• Perform resolution of queries
• Book of entries in the ledger (manually)
• Perform analysis of financial information monthly/quarterly
• Provide all information required for financial audits and tax filings
• Monitor vendor payments including monthly taxes
• Provide monthly payroll input including leave management, Nexus Claim
• Prepare invitations letters for visas, manage short term delegations
• Coordinate travel, pick ups, hotel and airlines reservations
• Purchase and control office supplies and consumables
• Handling internal and external correspondence

Requisites

• Degree in Accounting, finance or Business Management
• Minimum of 3 years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports
• Knowledge of computerize accounting, but must be able to do a manual set of book
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
