Project Manager

PRI is recruiting a Project Manager, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Support the client and apply knowledge of management functions, oversee the movement, distribution and storage of materials with coordination from the outsource Distribution Center
• Qualified candidates should have proven experience managing commercials, Freight forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain
• Provide inputs for Sales Forecasting
• Provide consolidated stock reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Provide visibility of shipments through coordination with different countries
• Provide shipment updates to client at frequent intervals
  Coordinate with Custom Clearance agents to clear inbound shipments
• Coordinate with Custom clearance/transportation agents for the delivery of shipments
• Ensure timely submission of stocks and serial numbers to client
• Monitor and supervise warehouse operations
• Draw conclusions and develop solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness
• Implement Standard Health and Safety measures
• Conduct inventory counts and regular inspection of warehouses across the country
• Track and trace shipments and outbound distribution
• Prepare monthly billing and raise invoices in a timely manner
• Recommend actions for improvements

Requisites

• + 7 year experience working as a Project Manager or related to Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing & Distribution
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance or Management is required
• Experienced dealing with Contracts, Client negotiations, Sub-contractors and has a self-platform work
• Has an excellent communication skills (English is a must)
• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project & Outlook)
• Resident of Mozambique and has valid driver’s license
• Experience in leading successful project team, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with external clients
