US Embassy is recruiting a Motorpool Dispatcher - Fleet Manager, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Under the direct supervision of the Motor Pool Supervisor, the incumbent serves as a Motor Pool Dispatcher and Fleet Manager
- As a dispatcher, in conjunction with another dispatcher, the incumbent regularly dispatches drivers based on transportation requests and determines priorities in the use of official vehicles
- The incumbent also serves as Fleet Manager by maintaining a vehicle maintenance schedule, ensuring the Mission vehicles adhere to that schedule, and is the primary point of contact on service requests for Mission vehicles and procurement requests for those vehicles
- Additionally, the incumbent operates government owned vehicles, and backs up the Motor Pool Supervisor as needed
Requisites
- Completion of Secondary School is required
- At least 2 years’ experience both in a customer service environment, with some administrative background and automotive mechanic
- Level III (good working knowledge) English is required. Level III (good working knowledge) Portuguese is required
- Possession of local driver’s license for duty vehicle is required
