Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Executive Pastry Chef, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Directs and oversees the pastry and baking functions of the kitchen
- Ensure to maintain quality and proper presentation of food
- Menu developing, inventory and purchasing of supplies, and cost control
- Ensure that all orders are handled correctly
- Supervise and train others chefs
- Research and develop new recipe
Requisites
- Must possess a high degree of knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operation and sanitation
- Must possess a baking and pastry certificate
- Able to effectively communicate in Portuguese and English, in both written and oral forms.
Creative and flexible
- Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly and concisely
- Able to lead and train other chefs
- Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
