Consultancy – Survey Manager

UNFPA is recruiting a Consultancy - Survey Manager, to be based in Maputo, Nampula and Zambézia.

Duties

• Update of standard protocol for the household survey with submission to provincial and national ethic committees
• Update of operational guidelines, questionnaires, training material, pilot-testing that are already available for KAP survey
• Manage the conduct of the HH survey with a +/- 1000 interview sample related to the SRHR situation (knowledge, choices and behaviors among adolescents and youth) in the project areas of intervention
• Collect, clean and analyze the baseline data it generates
• Ensure quality control of the survey processes
• Provide timely preliminary and final reporting material
• Participate in meetings to report about survey results

Requisites

• Minimum of graduate degree in related field
• Research skills: data collection, data analysis and report writing
• Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and managerial skills
• Familiar with SRH issues in Mozambique
• Full computer literacy and excellent fluency in English and Portuguese
• Proficiency in statistical packages
• Professional experience
• Extensive experience in survey management and implementation
• Experience with analysis of household and qualitative surveys
• Experience in management and/or analysis of DHS or MICS surveys will be an asset
