Public Health Administrative Management Specialist – Finance

US Embassy is recruiting a Public Health Administrative Management Specialist - Finance, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• The job holder is a financial analyst responsible for the day-to-day budget management of CDC Mozambique and reports directly to the Financial Manager
• Job holder’s responsibilities include budgeting, accounting, financial analysis and reporting for operating and non-operating expenditures, which includes responsibility for tracking budget of CDC-funded implementing partners
• Job holder provides specialized financial advice and recommendations on long-term resource requirements, forecasts and projections on the various budgetary and financial activities
• This is in addition to the close working relationship job holder must have with all implementing partners in order to ensure that their financial statements and reports meet the CDC reporting requirements.

Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree or host country equivalent in finance, accounting, international business, public administration, business administration, or management is required
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting or financial management is required
• Level IV English (fluency in both written and oral) is required
• Level IV Portuguese (fluency in both written and oral) is required
