Encore Resources Group is recruiting a Business Unit Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Plan, organize, lead and control the overall operations with currently 25 employees
- Ensures and strengthens the safety and EHS standards and further develops them
- Ensures a proper administration of the activities
- Managing existing relationships with customers and suppliers
- Identifying business potentials and working out proposals (PnL responsibility)
- Generate and present reports to the management
- Promote company's mission and values
- Close cooperation with the Head Office in Zurich Switzerland & local Management
Requisites
- Should be a professional with at least 5 years experience in heading operations within a manufacturing or processing environment
- Engineering background (Electrical or mechanical)
- Experience in leadership of production processes and operation management
- Professional with a technical as well as entrepreneurial mindset
- Passionate and structured leader
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
- High ability for networked thinking
- Ability to identify opportunities and transforming them into results
- Good written and oral English and Portuguese skills is a must
- Good IT skills, especially Excel
- Service oriented and proactive thinker with a quick grasp, works well under pressure
