Eni is recruiting a Tax Coordinator, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Preparing and submitting VAT, IRPC and IRPS monthly filing
- Preparing annual company IRPC returns in consultation with the company´s tax advisors
- Assisting employee taxes and provision of advice to the Human Resources Department
- Liaison with tax authorities on resolution of technical matters
- Acting as focal point during any inspections or audits by the Tax Authorities
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations on all local taxes, and provision of advice and support to the accounting function and finance department
- All other tax related matters as required
Requisites
- Detail orientation and analytical skills
- Problem solving capabilities
- Organizational skills
- Must be an “Accountant” registered in Mozambique
- University degree in Accounting or Audit
- Proficient in Portuguese and English
- 4 years in experience in computations of PIT, CIT, and VAT, VAT reimbursement processes, Tax returns and Central Bank tasks including registration of investment
- Previous experience in an accounting firm is considered a plus
