ADPP is recruiting a Community Linkages / Retention Advisor, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- The Community-Based HIV Services in the Southern Region Program will contribute to achieving epidemic control in Mozambique by reaching people living with HIV (PLHIV) through strategic community interventions
- The enhancement and improvement in HIV treatment, nutrition, general health outcomes, and livelihoods of PLHIV, including children, women and families in Maputo, Gaza, and Inhambane are the overall objectives of the Program
- The position will be filled, contingent on funding
- Develop a comprehensive program management plan
- Responsible for the direct implementation of work plan activities
- Coordinate closely with the districts supervisors to provide technical orientation, including regular supervision visits
Requisites
- Degree in nursing, anthropology, sociology, or related technical trainings or technical course from related areas
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in health programs, with at least three years of experience with HIV
- Knowledge of community settings, community structures and familiarity with HIV community interventions
- Familiarity with health system at district and provincial level
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
