Poultry Production Manager

PRI is recruiting a Poultry Production Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Directs and coordinates livestock farm activities
• Plans and implements policies and procedures to attain profitability
• Manages production at slaughterhouse establishment
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Reviews production and storage records to determine productivity
• Prepare breeding or hatching schedules on orders
• Stay update on livestock illness or diseases
• Interprets genetic data and advises customers regarding breeding

Requisites

• A degree Finance Management or Economics
• Minimum 2 years’ credit experience
• Ability to analyses company financial statements
• Good understanding of trends in the global lending market
• Excellent communications skills
• Meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese
