Liaison and Lobbying Coordinator

Heading is recruiting for an NGO a Liaison and Lobbying Coordinator, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• This person will be responsible for high level negotiations and policy influence with external stakeholders from the Government and UN Community with regards to lobbying for the adoption of multi-purpose cash transfers for emergencies and a standardized targeting and eligibility criteria
• Communicate effectively the program strategic objectives, the work and results of different consultancies especially on the assessment of the policy environment for unconditional/multipurpose cash transfers and the inclusive and participatory study on geographic targeting and beneficiary selection criteria to facilitate stakeholders buy-in
• Interact, promote linkages and engage on policy and operational environment with stakeholders and other key organizations to ensure clear understanding and importance for the adoption of a common criteria in humanitarian programming and response in Mozambique

Requisites

• Minimum Qualification required: Degree in Development Studies, Humanitarian Studies, Project Management, Communications or any other related field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience of work in development environment and communication - preferred
• Computer skills: Excel, word, PowerPoint and ability to adapt to new software
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
