Fullstack Software Developer

UX is recruiting a Fullstack Software Developer, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Description

Duties

• Participate in activities of corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications
• Participate in the development of new applications as well as configuration and customization of features for third-party products and their integration with other systems/products
• Participate in the design, implementation and implantation of new application architectural components and frameworks

Requisites

• Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in IT
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willing to work remotely and/or with a remotely distributed team
• Basic knowledge of code versioning, bug tracking and collaboration tools
• Appetite for rigorous technical research
• Results oriented
• Taking ownership of the product being build, with a proactive attitude and an attention in detail will be highly considered
• Experience or willing to learn developing and maintaining back-end with a LAMP stack
• Bachelor degree or Computer Science degree or related field will be an advantage
• Having experience or willing to learn in any of the following technologies or frameworks will be consider a major plus:
• Back-end: PHP, MySQL, Laravel, WordPress and Drupal
• Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Backbone, jQuery
• Experience developing for mobile (Android and iOS) will be an advantage
