Description
- Chemonics International, a U.S.-based international development consulting firm, is seeking professionals for an anticipated DFID-funded project in Mozambique to improve the quality of basic services through increased government transparency, accountability, and responsiveness
- The Transparency and Accountability for Inclusive Development (TAcID) will seek to empower women, youth, and marginalised groups and civil society-at-large to engage with government at all levels to seek improved access and quality of public services such as education, health care and family planning, water, sanitation and hygiene/WASH, nutrition, social protection, extractive sector development, and rural infrastructure
- We are seeking professionals with experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Senior programme management, including experience as a team leader or deputy team leader for donor-funded programmes
- Public services including in one or more of the following sectors: education, health care and family planning, water, sanitation and hygiene/WASH, nutrition, social protection, extractive sector development, and rural infrastructure
- Civil society strengthening and public advocacy
- Media and public information campaigns
- Gender equality and social inclusion
- Donor-funded grants management, DFID preferred
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Technology, innovation, and human-centered design
Requisites
- For technical-related positions, an advanced degree in related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Experience working on donor-funded programmes, with DFID, preferred
- English proficiency preferred
