Field Specialist-Mid and Senior Level (m/f)

Description

• Chemonics seeks experienced professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Mozambique Commodities for Health: Ensuring Guaranteed Access & Reliability (CHEGAR). This activity will aim to establish an effective and efficient transportation system in Mozambique for medical commodities by engaging the private sector to provide transport and transport management solutions. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world

Requisites

• Warehousing and distribution
• Forecasting and supply planning
• Private and public sector engagement
• Market dynamics
• Public health
• Organizational capacity building
• Sub national (i.e. district) community engagement
• Last mile distribution
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Logistics management information systems (LMIS)
• Data management and analysis
• Donor-funded finance and administration

Requisites

• Degree in supply chain management, logistics, public health, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience working on donor-funded supply chain programs, and/or other public health related fields
• Significant experience in key areas listed above with proven ability to achieve program targets experience in Mozambique or East and Southern Africa preferred
• Experience working collaboratively with the government of Mozambique, international donors, and local organizations; prior experience with USAID highly preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in Portuguese required; proficiency in English preferred
