Logistics Officer (m/f)

Description

• This functions intends primarily to facilitate all aspects of supply chain activities from product sourcing to final distributions and encompasses management of several structural elements, of Directing, Managing and coordinate procurement, transportation, warehousing and related customer service activities for all businesses at Motorcare Group in Mozambique

Duties

• In close co-operation with the individual businesses/branches/managers, prepare budgets and action plans for Group Management approval
• Secure that the best processes, benchmarks etc. are used to secure the lowest possible costs (direct cost of transportation/shipping and indirect gains through increased availability, lower total average inventory Days On Hand (DOH) etc.)
• Ensure professional execution according plans, policies and budgets
• Collect, consolidate and present relevant data for all entities for management decision making and action

Requisites

• Years of experience in a similar position/s, preferably in the automotive industry
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers
• Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets
• Willingness to travel and work with global team of professionals
