The U.S. Embassy is recruiting an Administrative Clerk (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
  • The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk
Duties
  • The incumbent serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Financial Management Office (FMO) staff and is responsible for facilitating the work flow of the office by receiving and recording invoices and other documents coming in the FMO Office, tracking and filing documents physically and electronically
  • Maintaining electronic files of Contracts, BPAs, Leases and other official documents in use in the FMO office, claiming VAT reimbursement requests from the Host Government, keeping the FMO Officer agenda, and tracking outstanding advances
  • The incumbent also serves as the Main Timekeeper and POC for Time & Attendance preparation and timely submission as well as for any payroll issues
  • The incumbent is also responsible for the maintenance of the Financial Management Office’s SharePoint page
