Emergency Response Advisor (m/f)

Duties

• Meet the requirements of the HSE IMS by developing and maintaining emergency management documentation
• Help the development of emergency response and preparedness programs and other necessary systems and tools to ensure all work meet regulatory and Company’s requirements
• Maintain potential scenarios listing for all sites on the basis of risk assessment results
• Prepare ER and OSC plans in compliance with state and local regulations
• Maintain appropriate documented ER link plans/bridging documents to address internal and external interfaces
• Identify and maintain specific on-scene response procedures and resources required for emergency scenarios in coordination with the relevant parties
• Maintain crisis management procedures/controls
• Coordinate interfaces with Government agencies and external stakeholders on emergency related regulatory compliance and permitting issues
• Ensure all fire fighting and oil contingency equipment are purchased right, operational and well maintained
• Follow-up of Action Plan concerning ERP
• Assist and advice operational sites on all relevant emergency response issues through regular site visits
• Organize and coordinate appropriate emergency training for the organization and develop an annual training schedule and emergency drills
• Audit sites emergency drills and implement action plan following the drills
• Support coordination of ER and crisis management activities
• Coordinate the sharing of ER resources and equipment from Block’s partners and other stakeholders

Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, or a similar subject
• At least 5 years of working experience in the management of Emergency Response in the Oil and Gas industry
• Experience in Oil and Gas complex initial start-up and in international projects or JV is an advantage
• Fire safety training, OSC training
• Knowledge of HSE best practices and national and international HSE legislation
• Good knowledge of the management of technological and chemical-Biological- Radiological- Nuclear risks and incidents
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas operations and of oil spill response equipment offshore and onshore
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
