The U.S. Embassy is recruiting a Facility Management Intern (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
- Internship opportunities within the Facilities section for Architectural/Engineers university students and/or Vocational/trade school students
- Work hours: Part-time; 20 hours/week
- Salary: Unpaid Internship
- Length of hire: January 17, 2022 – July 15, 2022 (6 months)
Duties
- Based on experience, intern will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of fields within the Facility Management Group, from Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction and other various construction/maintenance trades
Requisites
- Language: English 3/3 required for university interns and English 2/2 for vocational/trade schools. (This will be tested)
- Computer: General computer skills – familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and ability to conduct research online
- Education: At a minimum enrolled in Architectural/Engineers university and/or Vocational/trade school in any Maintenance/Construction trade. Will also accept graduated from university and/or trades schools
- Experience: None required
