Employee Relation Specialist (m/f)

Duties

• Creating and maintaining good relationship with employers and staff
• Establishing new plans, policies and procedures while enforce and uphold the Labour Law and related legislation
• Labour Union Engagement
• Performing formal procedures of discussion on selected issues as required
• Supervising and advising other staff to perform responsibilities related to employment
• Managing and reconciling employee disagreement or Grievances
• Developing programs to support employee relations
• Discussing on the issues about employment regulations
• Consulting with management about working conditions and advise in case there is labour risk identified
• Giving correct suggestion on problems rising from employment bonds
• Monitor & ensure compliance in term of Labour Legislation
• Ensuring all employees are performing with company plan and policies
• Focusing employee relation strategies that meet up the future business needs
• Effectively managing all employment court cases and protecting organizational reputation
• Maintaining relationships with internal system that help contribute to organizational development
• Manage the Ill Health and disability cases
• Liaise with Insurance companies

Requisites

• Degree in Law
• At least 2 years of experience in a industrial environment is desirable
• Strong commands in both Portuguese and English (oral and written)
• Good business communication skills, both oral and written
• Able to handle multiple subjects and responsibilities
• Strong understanding of Mozambican Labour Legislation & related legal framework
• Prove knowledge of negotiation skill
• Extremely energetic, adoring and disciplined
• Strong sense of responsibility and leadership
• Good ability of listening skill
• Capable to identify and solve challenging condition or labour risks
• Analytical and logical thinking skills to solve complex situation
• Able to communicate important information and knowledge
• Capability to provide high level of customer service
• Capable to utilize computer including MS-Office, web application
• Strong in interface management skills
