Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Program Assistant (Community Grants Program Coordinator)
Duties
- Under direct supervision of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Deputy Coordinator, each of the two incumbent manages and administers one-half of the Embassy's Community Grants program portion of funding under the PEPFAR, including solicitation, administration and monitoring of grants in the amount of approximately $750,000 yearly
- Serves as an active member of the PEPFAR interagency team in the U.S. Mission with particular emphasis on committees dealing with prevention, local capacity and civil society building, communication and youth outreach
