Heading is recruiting for its client, an oil and gas company, a Progress Reporting, to be based in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.
Duties
- Overall responsibility for Project Reporting activities related to onshore including:
- Review and validate (field checks) contractor monthly progress payment applications
- Develop, maintain, and update project KPI’s (including S-curves, progress tables, manpower, national content);Input into site POB/bedding plan;Prepare and distribute weekly reports (collate data from AMA1 site personnel & contractor)
- Work with Area 1 cost controller to provide input into VOWD monthly forecast;Review monthly progress reports from contractors for completeness and accuracy
- Review monthly schedule updates from contractors, validate critical path, identify schedule slippages, and collaborate with contractors and Company CMT to identify existing or potential slippages and recommend mitigations to recover schedule
- Provide input to construction teams on Pre-commissioning and Commissioning interface and priority
- Provide input for Onshore/Offshore interface coordination at battery limits
- Review change orders for schedule impact; Participation in weekly and monthly meetings
- Input into Company Project Monthly Reports Interface;Input into overall LNG integrated project schedule
- Input into Project close out report
- Other tasks as required by Planning Manager and Project Controls Manager.
- The job holder will have to liaise actively with Project Management and related Package and Line Managers for the performance of the above duties. Accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour regarding HSSE rules & requirements, with regards to the Company
- Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within the said area of responsibility
- Accountabilities:
- The position activities will be performed in close collaboration and coordination with the Project Management. The job holder will play an essential role in ensuring the onshore project progress is well monitored, forecasted and managed and that the project team is kept fully aware of the state of such interface
Requisites
- Minimum Education: Engineer/Bachelor degree in Business Management or similar
- Minimum Experience: 10+ years of experience in major oil and gas project controls with focus in Onshore
- Major Oil and Gas project developments knowledge and experience, with Partner and Government reporting interfaces
- Organizational ability and commitment to meeting deadlines; Requires team spirit with ability to work closely with various stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills; Knowledgeable and experienced with schedule and planning principles and methods
- Planning and Scheduling tools : Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Project, Milestones Pro, Excel; Knowledge of Total rules/procedures
- Language Requirements: Fluent English required; Portuguese language skills will assist performance
