• HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation is a Swiss Non-Government Organization that has been working in Mozambique for rural development since 1979, and recently has been invited to submit a proposal to a donor for a 36-month project and is therefore looking to recruit a Specialist in Natural Resources Management

Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree in community development and other related field
• General professional experience:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in community development
• Work experience in Mozambique
• Experience in community training
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong command of written and oral English desirable
• Specific professional experience:
• Experience on helping the community to identify natural resources assets
• Knowledge in wildlife census
• Experience on developing a Management Plan
• Experience on community based natural resource monitoring system
