Muhlbauer is recruiting a Sales Assistant, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Builds business by identifying and selling prospects
- Maintaining relationships with clients
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospect, recommending solutions
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
- Prepare and organize the material to be submitted in Public Tenders
- Assists management in monitoring sales and supplier performance
- Assist in organizing promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and participate in them to promote the company's image
- Draft and publish online content on the company's website and social media accounts
- Write marketing materials (brochures, press releases, etc.) to increase the company's presence in the market
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure functionality and coordination of department activities
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requisites
- Bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration ingeniering or sales preferred
- At least five (5) years of institutional sales experience
- One to three years of management experience
- Strategic leadership ability
