Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Workforce Development Clerk (Human Resources Clerk) within the office of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
Duties
- Under the direct supervision of the CDC Mozambique Workforce Development & Administrative Team Lead, this position serves as the office Workforce Development Clerk and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the CDC Workforce Development & Administrative Office
- Incumbent is responsible for clerical processing of human resource functional areas, related to onboarding; training; time and attendance; performance evaluation; position classification; promotions and retirements, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient HR operations
- The position is in the Management & Operations (M&O) Branch and serves approximately 104 CDC Mozambique staff under various hiring mechanisms: U.S. Direct Hires (USDH), Locally Employed Staff (LE Staff), Contractors, Interns and Fellows
