CONTACT is recruiting a Travel Support Coordinator, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Answering to the General Services Lead, the main activities of the function include to deal with requests for domestic and international flight booking and accommodation
- Provide guidance and assistance on complex and/or large travel requests; to contribute to the development of processes and procedures; to act as backup for travel coordinator and assistants
- Liaise with vendor regarding problems with system or upgrades
- Being the first level troubleshooting of external data source integration issues; drive continuous improvement of travel programs
- Help with accommodation procedures and POB management
- Review travel associated invoices as well as statements for accuracy
- Supervise and coordinate travel & accommodation activities and team work; liaise with travel service providers
- Develop knowledge as a user for DaWinci travel system
- Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
Requisites
- Applicable Degree with a strong business management knowledge
- Project management skills will be preferential
- In-depth knowledge of International and Domestic travel services
- Must speak, read and write English and Portuguese fluently
- Excellent communication and people skills as interactions will be at all organizational levels
- Strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction, as well as experience in managing vendor relationships
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationship with clients
- Possess good time keeping and organizational skills
