Accountant

Duties

• Understanding of fundamental accountanting principles (accounts payable/ debits / credits)
• Input financial data into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
• Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements and accounts
• Update and maintain financial records, ensuring that all data is up to date and accurate
• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support the finance team with basic accounting tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting policies
• Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets
• Perform other administrative and clerical duties related to accounting functions as required

Requisites

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficient in accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
