BlueSky Travel Management is hiring a Team Leader for Maputo.
Duties
- To manage the day to day operations of the travel agency, with a special focus on direct sales. Strive to achieve sales targets. Conduct agent briefings, coach agents and ensure service levels are met
- Ensure that customer profiles are created and post trip feedback obtained
- Manage the operational and financial activities of the travel agency to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals
- Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department
- Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies
- Maintains sales momentum and place a strong focus on volume/ distribution growth
- Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
- Responsible for staff scheduling
- Other responsibilities related to the position
Requisites
- University Diploma in Travel and Tourisme or in Management
- At least 5 years experience in the Travel and Tourism industry, preferably in a Travel Agency
- Good IT skills
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Strong personality and interpersonal communication skills
- Sound leadership capabilities
