The U.S. Embassy in Maputo is seeking one individual for the position of Computer Management Assistant at the Information Management Office, in Maputo.
Duties
- Responsible for all the OpenNet infrastructure, hardware, software, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, connectivity, backups and data management
- Responsible for providing direct customer service, end-user support and training for all user-level applications and systems
Requisites
- College or university studies in Information Technology or engineering is required
- Minimum of one to two years of experience as Computer Network and Systems Administrator serving more than 10 users/workstations in a Microsoft Active Directory operating environment that must include operating systems installation and maintenance is required.
- Level III English (good working knowledge) is required. Level II Portuguese (limited knowledge) is required
- Ability to deal professionally with all mission employees is required is required
- Ability to write email messages in English to communicate network and computer service availability and/ or problem with information technology systems is required
