Aldelia is recruiting a Petroleum Engineer (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Model well and analyses well behaviour using a range of techniques such as: trend analysis, material balance, nodal analysis, pressure transient/ rate transient analysis, et al
- Develop, support and update well models for workovers and infill wells
- Develop and maintain project databases for current and legacy reservoir management information
- Assimilate petroleum engineering data and integrate with other discipline data to support reservoir characterization studies, stimulation, well targeting for improved completion, production results and practices
- Comply with GSO's function standards, consult and seek endorsement of work results from appropriate function
- Represent company interests in external dealing with contractors, consultants and industry forums
Requisites
- Minimum 3 years of Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or related engineering/upstream experience combined with appropriate petroleum engineering training
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum/ Reservoir Engineering or other Science/Engineering with a strong numerical component
- Strong computer literacy, including the use of personal computer and related software for data management including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access database
- Must be efficient and able to meet deadlines while managing multiple assigned projects, as well as be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Strong capability in using MS Office software and collaborative applications
- Ability to work alone under own initiative and in close collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
- Must be goal-oriented and demonstrate willingness to learn new tasks and applications
