US Embassy is recruiting a Accounting Technician, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Incumbent maintains official funds control ledgers for various US government programs and branches, including Embassy operations, diplomatic programs, Consular operations, Representation, and President Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Reconciles post funds control ledgers with status of obligations reports from headquarters in the U.S. Produces financial plans and reports for the above allotments on a regular and timely basis Tracks and reports on funds for centrally-controlled allotments Obligates funds based on purchase requests, contracts, and other authorizations
Requisites
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business management related field
- Two years of funds control, accounts maintenance, bookkeeping, or clerical accounting work experience
- Level IV English (will be tested)
- Level IV Portuguese (will be tested)
