Aftersales Engineer

ZTE Corporation is recruiting a Aftersales Engineer, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• To assist in providing input into the Telecommunications strategy for ZTE Project
• Understanding of the evolution of the telecommunications sector in providing new services required in the market
• Responsible for formulating service solutions to address customer challenges
• Responsible for the overall planning and scheduling to ensure that projects are engineered in a safe, timely and cost effective manner
• Maintain excellent relationships with owner, consultants, subcontractors & public
• Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of engineering to prevent delays

Requisites

• Engineering or telecommunication undergraduate degree
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership and design or construction experience with telecommunications
• Government background is preferred
• Excellent skills in developing and leading teams
• The proven ability to successfully manage large and complex construction projects
• Ability to resolve project disputes with minimal senior management assistance
• Specific technical experience with government clients is preferred
• An understanding of civil construction municipal requirements, line and splicing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• English is excellent as work language
