Afungi Security Representative (m/f)

Duties

• Maintain an assurance role to ensure the guard force are aligned with each aspect of the Total Mozambique LNG security procedures relevant to their position. This includes oversight of the training process and routine and weekly documented controls of the guards, posts, and equipment
• In coordination with the Northern and Deputy Security Managers, establish all the necessary requests for routine and remedial action required by security (such as fence repairs or clearing of vegetation between and around the perimeter fence)
• In coordination with the Military Liaison Officer, provide assistance and translation services between project personnel and the Mozambican security forces
• In coordination with the Northern and Deputy Security Managers, provide assistance and translation services between project personnel and national service providers on security related issues
• Ensure the relevant EHS procedures are effectively implemented by all security personnel, and that the necessary protection equipment they have is in good condition
• Provide verbal security briefs to project personnel (new arrivals and updates as required)
• Provide support and assistance to the Afungi Security Supervisor as required
• Review the Guard Supervisor’s events book to ensure the details of any incidents and patrols have been recorded. Reports any incidents noted to the Afungi Security Supervisor

Requisites

• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Previous working experience with multi-nationals is an added value
• Experience in working with MS office
• Completion of grade 12, Diploma or equivalent
