Architect

Duties

• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
• Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
• Taking into account constraints such as town planning legislation, environmental impacts and project budgets
• Working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers, building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists

Requisites

• Knowledge in architecture and civil engineering
• Ability to review a technical drawing
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Office package (Excell)
• Experience in the construction sector in the design phase, civil buildings (accommodation, hotels, canteens, recreational area, bar and tavern)
• Technical English (writen and spoke)
