Associate Director

PRI is recruiting a Associate Director, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Manage investment’s origination process in order to guarantee a continuous pipeline of promising investments
• Leading the development, appraisal and negotiation of new subordinated debt and equity agribusiness investments This involves
• Overseeing initial screening of opportunities and obtaining clearance to proceed
• Leading the commercial negotiations on the structure and terms of any investment
• Overseeing the full appraisal of investment opportunities and preparation and writing of required internal investment approval papers
• Working closely with internal or external legal counsel
• Provide regular monitoring carrying out investment reviews and providing management support
• Develop key strategic commercial relationships and alliances

Requisites

• Strong experience with 7-10 years in a relevant investment business
• Strong corporate finance, and financial modelling of project finance
• Experience in agribusiness and in Southern African
• Excellent commercial negotiation skills
• Excellent English and Portuguese oral and written skills
