Blasting Pitt Manager

Capital Outsourcing is hiring a Blasting Pitt Manager for Nacala.

Duties

• Responsible for managing blasting operations on site supervise and schedule the activities of the team
• Good trouble shooting knowledge on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Managing expenses, budgets, stocks, orders, safety equipment and PPE
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in blasting, removing, and crushing mineral ores in open-pit mines
• Trains workers in drilling blast holes and in loading and shooting explosive charges

Requisites

• Must have experience in drilling and blasting in Africa
• Understand the layout, design & plan that is needed around the opening up off large open pits where aggregate or mining product is drill & blasted
• Must be able to work at Heights
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
