JCA is recruiting a Branch Manager, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Ensure sustainable achievement of growing profit targets
- To contribute towards the overall success of the company brand in terms of Customer perception
- Ensure full understanding and implementation of the The company Strategy
- Create and maintain a high energy, customer centric and service orientated climate
- Ensure that store standards of housekeeping, ranging, merchandising and customer service are achieved
- Ensure that the store is appropriately structured and staffed – ensure effective use of staff scheduling
- Increase sales through increased customer feet, market share and basket size
- Ensure store is appropriately ranged and stocked
- Manage stock for optimum return by ensuring the integrity of stock data
- Control expenses and shrinkage thereby protecting assets
- Ensure business continuity and sustainability
Requisites
- At least 5 years related experience at Senior management level in a big box retail hardware environment
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Ability to work independently within a fast paced environment
- Strong Leadership abilities
- Management experience essential in managing business processes and people
- Excellent customer service orientation
