RSM is recruiting a Branch Manager (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Nampula and Quelimane, Mozambique.
Description
- The branch manager will be responsible for supervising and managing a bank branch. He will oversee financial reporting, hire and train staff, and grow branch revenue. Duties include managing and supervising employees, assisting customers, and providing excellent customer service
Duties
- Identify, evaluate and manage strategic risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures
- Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities
- Maintain fruitful relationships with current customers and establish good relationships with new ones
- Develop and oversee sales and marketing strategies
- Manage daily operations, especially customer service and finance activities, and make improvements as needed
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Requisites
- University degree in Accounting & Audit, Management or related areas
- Leadership/team work/flexibility/team development
- Assertive and with initiative
- Strong analytical capacity
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Proven minimum experience of 5 years, preferably in a banking institution or microfinance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent IT Skills
- Emotional Intelligence assessment
