Operations Manager

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Operations Manager, to be based in Several Places, Mozambique.

Duties

• Contract management-supplier and client contracts
• Emergency management
• Responsible for the safety, health and environment
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Conduct risk assessment and risk mitigation measures on-site and before commencement of projects
• Undertake corrective and preventive measures to ensure a proper environment and health for the organization and its stakeholders
• Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization to ensure efficiency in production
• Interact with managers of different areas of the organization
• Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output
• Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
• Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost
• Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout
• Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
• Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff

Requisites

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineer graduate
• 7 years experience in similar position
• Speaks, reads and writes English fluently
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Relevant management experience in the field is a must
• Work well under pressure
• Thorough and accurate with attention to detail
• Excellent ability to compile and present reports
