Description

• The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Carpenter Supervisor

Duties

• The incumbent reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor
• The position holder is employed as a supervisor to a team of carpenters and to accomplish skilled maintenance and repair work at the Journeyman Carpenter level
• The work shall be done at the chancery office buildings, grounds and residential owned/leased properties
• The Supervisor is responsible for assigning work orders to the carpentry team and ensuring work is completed on time and to the Mission standards
• The carpentry team will also be assigned tasks such as fabricating shelving, hanging art work, repairing furniture, or other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
