Heading Moçambique is searching for a Commodities Tracking System Assistant to be part of a new project in education for World Vision financed by the US Government, to be based in Nampula.
Duties
- The purpose of the CTS Assistant is to maintain accurate commodity accounting records of all food commodities movement including receipts, loans, inter warehouse transfers, dispatches, distributions and losses in the district according to established procedures and donor requirements
Requisites
- Completed grade 12; bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant area such as Accounting or Statistics
- Knowledge of warehouse and distributions
- 2 years relevant experience, for example in commodities tracking or in bookkeeping
- Experience with an NGO or UN agency working in food programming is preferred
- Strong computing skills with ability to use data management and data analysis software and tools
- Excellent written and oral communication in Portuguese and English
