Contracts Administration Officer

Twigg Exploration & Mining is recruiting a Contracts Administration Officer, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.

Duties

• Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all the Balama Operation contracts
• Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff
• Develop and implement procedures for contract administration in compliance with company policy, as appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies
• Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures
• Identify areas of recurrent pressure
• Follow up to guarantee contractual payments have been made, and ensure that all the contractual deduction and retention were applied if applicable
• Monitor, track and keep record of the current Contract expenditure against the approved contract value, and the value of work done
• Work with Risk Management Department/Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements
• Ensure that the Contractor understands Invoice and Payment procedure as stated in Contract
• Serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters
• Monitor customer satisfaction with our terms and conditions and contracting practices, recommend changes
• Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal
• Assist in the development and management of an internal audit program for the Maintenance Engineering Team’s work
• Develop and manage continuous improvement projects within the Maintenance Engineering Team within your field

Requisites

• Degree in Management, Procurement, Engineering or similar areas
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on the contracts administration field and experience in procurement preferably in the mining industry
