British High Commission Maputo is recruiting a Corporate Services Team Leader, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
- Leading the Team: The job holder will need to provide excellent leadership and management to the new Corporate Services team, particularly in the transition period as the new team is established. We are looking for an effective leader and communicator who can work collaboratively to
- Establish team vision and ways of working with new team
- Ensure everyone in the team understands their role and how they contribute to the effective operation of Corporate Services for BHC and DFID
- Identify and act upon learning and development needs for the team to ensure that staff develop to meet service requirements
- Lead on delivery of the SLA and review and monitor progress to ensure the Corporate Services team meets its targets across key functional areas: security, accounts, estates, IT, HR, transport, protocol, Reception, Residence, Community Liaison
- Manage and/or supervise 17 employees in the team in line with BHC policies and procedures and local legislation
Requisites

- Working collaboratively across organisational boundaries with a variety of stakeholders
- Financial planning and management of a significant budget
- Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese language
