EP is recruiting for its client a Country HR Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Customer Service:
- Strengthen the partnership relation with business units, developing high service level HR support
- Ensure “on the ground” presence of HR functions to apply efficient customer service/support attitude of HR team
- Proactively work on developing a “trust” in the HR function and enhance HR credibility as adding value function
- Develop solid partnership with the Country Managing Director and the Country Management Team
- Recruitment:
- Manage the recruitment process at all levels and attract best-in-class candidates
- Ensure compliance with corporate recruitment policies and procedures, proper corporate branding and transmission of the Company Vision & Mission
- Develop and maintain contacts with sourcing channels (agencies, job boards, universities)
- Select and recruit adequate personnel through efficient utilization of available interviewing methodologies and tools (psychometric testing, e-recruitment)
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Recommend and implement a remuneration policy and salary structure in line with the local practices and Company guidelines
- Implement Corporate Remuneration processes, such as the annual salary review and the Performance Bonus process for the country
- Ensure or supervise the processing of payroll, making sure that accuracy, legal requirements, punctuality and clarity are respected
- Training & Development:
- Implement the Country training & development strategy
- Coordinate the training & development activity in partnership with the line management to respond to business requirements
- Ensure that training activity is proving to be efficient through lowering of turn-over, increase efficiency of manpower, strengthening of employee engagement and harmonized corporate culture sharing
- Performance Management:
- Strengthen the understanding and utilization of the Company Performance Management system
- Manage the Company performance management process in a timely and quality manner
- Ensure regular performance management training activities are implemented within the affiliate and provide on-going coaching to both supervisors and employees
- Organization:
- Implement HR procedures and processes accordance to Company Group guidelines, local legislation (and unions requirements if applicable)
- Social Relations:
- Nurture solid relationship with social partners and contribute to a positive image of Company in the social environment
- Communications:
- Ensure regular communication of organizational and personal related changed to all employees within the affiliate
- Budget Management:
- Prepare the HR Departments budget and provide support to manpower budget for other departments
- Team Management:
- Lead, coach and develop a Human Resource team to deliver quality HR service to support business
- Identify and promote future HR professionals
Requisites
- BA in Management with major in HR or equivalent diploma
- 5-10 years’ experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management
recruitment, training and development, management, administrations, compensation & benefits, legislation
- Fluent English and local language of the country
