  • Compensation: Competitive package available depending on experience

Description/Duties
  • The Leprosy Mission is looking for a highly motivated Country Leader to lead its mission of defeating leprosy and transforming lives in Mozambique
  • The Country Leader is ultimately accountable for all aspects of TLM’s work in Mozambique
  • This involves developing and implementing country strategies which are feasible and in line with TLM’s global frameworks
  • Championing TLM’s mission and values
  • Maintaining operational oversight
  • Managing resources and fostering team welfare and spiritual Christian life
  • This role requires significant experience in public health /international development, strong business acumen and proven strategic management experience
  • This role also requires the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and represent TLM at a senior level with government, donors and other international organizations
Christian Commitment
  • Country Leaders play a major role in fostering and developing Christ-centeredness within the Mission
  • The post holder will be expected to embed TLM Christian values through a culture of learning across the organization, supporting the team to create the space to reinforce the interdenominational spiritual identity of the organization
  • One of the core competencies of this post is spiritual maturity, therefore the post holder is required to commit to the Christian values and vision of the Leprosy Mission. Along with the rest of the Mozambique team, the post holder will lead and take part in regular meetings dedicated to prayer
