Demand Creation Coordinator

Description

• PSI seeks a Demand Creation Coordinator, that will support the implementation of social and behaviour change approaches to increase demand for self-care methods around family planning. He/she will work closely with PSI’s SBC team to adapt evidence-based DISC demand creation materials effectively speak to and influence Mozambican women and families. The Demand Creation Coordinator will also work closely with field based to build capacity for and monitor the implementation of community activation events to create demand for self-injection

Duties

• The Demand Creation Coordinator is responsible for providing the direction of demand creation approach, based on learnings and tools developed through previous DISC implementation
• Organize and facilitate co-creation workshops with the target population to adapt the DISC demand creation approach and tools to establish new adopters for self-injection
• Manage work with creative agencies to adapt the demand creation tools to effectively influence the target group
• With support from the SBC team, organize and train the implementing and government partners in the demand creation approach to generate new adopters for self-injection
• Monitor demand creation activities to enable continuous learning and opportunities to adapt approaches for better outcomes
• Facilitate the building and integration of behavioural insights into PSI’s broader understanding of family planning and self-care behaviours

Requisites

• University degree in Public Health, Social and Behaviour Change or other relevant field
• Previous experience in managing demand creation interventions, especially around family planning
• Previous experience in training implementing partners and/or service providers
• Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health, family planning and self-care
• Analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the transformation of data into insights and captivating presentations
• Proficiency in oral and written communication in Portuguese and English
• Mozambican nationality
