Fintrac is a leading US-based agriculture consulting firm with projects in Africa, Asia and Central America. We are currently recruiting senior technical and managerial staff for an upcoming, multi-year, USAID- funded Feed the Future project in Mozambique. The project will focus on increasing smallholder incomes through strengthened agribusinesses and supply chains for priority food and cash crops.
Requisites
- Advanced (Doctorate or Master’s) degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience managing projects of similar size and complexity
- Previous operations and management experience for USAID-funded projects in agriculture and/or agribusiness development
- Equivalent leadership positions for other donors and/or initiatives will be considered
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Portuguese is required
- Demonstrated understanding of the Mozambican and/or regional agricultural context is required
- Proven record of achieving development impact in a similar context
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to manage high-level relationships and motivate subordinates
