Deputy Chief of Party

TechnoServe

TechnoServe works with enterprising people in the developing world to build competitive farms, businesses and industries. We are a nonprofit organization that develops business solutions to poverty by linking people to information, capital and markets. Our work is rooted in the idea that given the opportunity, hardworking men and women in even the poorest places can generate income, jobs and wealth for their families and communities. With more than four decades of proven results, we believe in the power of private enterprise to transform lives.

TechnoServe Mozambique is one of TechnoServe’s largest programs, with a 15-year continuous presence and an excellent reputation for catalyzing transformational change in Mozambique.

This is an anticipated USAID/Mozambique Feed the Future program, a potential 5-year effort, which, if awarded to TechnoServe, would be expected to begin in late 2013 or early 2014 focusing primarily in the Nacala and Beira corridors. The project intends to increase smallholder incomes by promoting market-oriented, competitive businesses in priority food and cash crop sectors namely oilseeds/pulses, fruit and cashew value chains.
