ALISTAIR is recruiting a Driver Management & Training Lead (m/f), to be based in Pemba, Mozambique.
Duties
- Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Fleet Management - work with Road freight Operations to ensure safe loading and delivery of cargo, ensure time sheets and associated documentation is completed correctly
- Driver Training and Competencies – Deliver Company Defensive Driver Training and certification
- Driver Management – ensure professionalism, discipline and compliance to company procedures from drivers
- Safety - ensure drivers are correctly equipped comply HSSEQ Policies and Procedures
Requisites
- Minimum Certificate/Diploma level
- Proficient in English (Essential)
- Mozambique (Truck) license (Essential)
- Defensive Driving Certification (Desirable)
- HSE Qualification/experience (Desirable)
- Heavy Goods driving experience, preferably on HOWO and IVECO as well as light vehicles
- 3 - 5 years management/supervisory experience
- Driver Training experience preferred (VETA/SCANIA/ Venture Risk Management/Any Defensive Driver training Delivery Company)
- Experience with Cranes, Rigging/Lifting equipment highly advantageous
